All of the designs on this site are 100% original. They are
designed and tested and tweaked and perfected before they are ever offered for
sale. They're very personal, too -- as artists, we feel a sense of pleasure
in our creations, since they are the result of many years of training at art
school and real-world design experience.
We do not think it is at all okay for other people to copy our designs. We
worked very hard on them and it's a real bummer when somebody tells us they've
seen our design for sale somewhere else.
If you are thinking about copying our stuff, please reconsider. There are about
a gajillion ways to combine photos and we know you can come
up with something original for yourself rather than stealing our hard work.
Think about how much better you will feel inside knowing it's your own creative
work! (By the way, taking one of our designs and changing a few things doesn't
count as coming up with something original on your own -- see definition
of derivative work for details.)
We have registered our designs with the US Copyright office. If our designs
are stolen, we are required to defend ourselves against copyright infringement.
We would much rather spend our time on creating beautiful announcements for
our customers, but if we have to go the legal route, we will. Our attorneys
would love it.
It stinks that we even have to say any of this! We thought long and hard about
even putting it here, but we are tired of seeing our hard work copied. Thanks
